Reula S. Newland age 65, of Lima passed away Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born Feb. 25, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to Charles Robert and Margie Betty Manring Newland. He married Ginger Lee Shoffner and she preceded him in death Aug. 24, 2014.
Reula had been a truckdriver and loved to help people.
Survivors include sons: Reula (Kelly) Newland, Jr. of Cincinnati, Shang (Denise) Newland of Wapak and Brandon (Kylie Werling) of Lima, 9 grandchildren. 12 great grandchildren siblings: Doug (Janet) Newland of Ottawa, Rick (Judy) Newland of Vaughnsville, Betty (Ed) Mason of Lima and Gaylene (Will) Gay of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a son: Shawn Michael Newland, a brother Gaylord Lee and sisters: Ann Hunter, Pam Manring and Diane Money.
A graveside service will be 2:30 Monday, August 12 at Memorial Park Cemetery committal chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help with funeral cost.
