Reva L. Leach

Reva L. (Sneary) Leach age 87, of Harrod went to be with the Lord 11:40 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023.   She was born March 8, 1936 in Lima to the late John and Vaneta (Lowry) Sneary.  On August 21, 1970 she married Rev. James C. Leach who survives in Harrod.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.  She taught Sunday school for ten years and helped her husband with his ministry.  She retired from Howard Johnson Motor Lodge and  loved to fish and mow her yard.  Reva was a very good wife mother and grandmother; she loved all her family and neighbors.

Additional survivors include a son Gary (Beth) Leach of Lima; 2 daughters:  Donna Parsons of Spencerville and Lauri (Gary) Mahan of Delphos; grandchildren:  Teresa Mortimer and family of Lima, Amy (Lucas) Moore of Howard, OH, Barbie Parsons and Karen (Kevin) Kohorst of Spencerville, Sarah Taggi of Delphos, Brock Leach of Lima, Andy Mahan of Delphos; great grandchildren:  Logan, Mason, Ava Moore; Dakota and Tyler Kohorst, Natalie Taggi, Christopher and Olivia Mahan and Jonah Mahan; a sister Mary (Fran) Martin of Florida, brothers:  Mike Sneary of Waynesfield, Terry (Cyndee) Sneary of Bluffton, brother-in-law Bill (Signe) Leach and Rich Loper of Utah; nieces:  Rebekah, Lindsay, Gabby and Olivia Sneary, Anna (Nathan) Gerber of Indiana, Kaitlyn (Zach) Diller, Tammy (Lynn) Donohoo, Cindy Peterson, littler Reva (John) Fredericks all of Utah and Tina Martin of Michigan; great nieces:  Brittany (Tim) Lites and Elora Gerber; great great nieces Zoey Lites, Kylie Rose Chandler of Florida; Nephews Donny (Susie) Leach of Spencerville, Jason (Lisa) Leach of Powell, Larry (Katie) Neal and Jack Neal  both of Utah, Francis Martin and Johnny (Bethal) Martin; great nephews Emory John Gerber of IN and John Gabriel; great great nephew Marclo Borges all of Florida; aunts Maxine Heffner of Harrod, Sue Sneary of Roundhead; uncle Clyde Sneary of Lima; several cousins, a special special friend Pat Ransbottom and a good friend Shirley Dozer; adopted family: Dale, Charlee, Bradley, Makenzie, Sean, Caleb, Garrett, Paige, Cheyenne, Alexa and Terrian Agler; Gary Agler, Bobby, Ryan, Cavanna, Colt Snyder all of Harrod, Chad Leatherman of Lima, Marie Madison, Lacy, Wyatt, Charlie and Maverick Leatherman all of Westminster.

She was preceded in death by an aunts Rowena VanMeter and Vickie Sneary, uncle Bill Heffer.

Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Eric McDunnell will officiate.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
