Richard Anthony McLoughlin age 58, of Lima passed away 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his residence following a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 5, 1964 in Lima to the late Richard P. and Ida Josephine (Herring) McLoughlin.
Rick graduated from Lima Senior and had been a manager for Nation Wide Auto Parts working for them for 20 years. He enjoyed Street and Drag racing as well as going to the races.
Survivors include his beloved wife Barbara; children: Heather N. France of Delaware, OH, Chelsea J. McLoughlin, Anthony M. McLoughlin, Shelby M. McLoughlin and Samantha M. McLoughlin all of Lima; 3 grandchildren: Dominic A., Donovan R. and Athena J. McLoughlin-Lotz; siblings: Paula Green with sons: Scott, Marcus (D) and Josh; Carol (John) Sarakitis with children Jacob and Laura; Colleen Huffman and children: Annie, Jesse and Justin; and Daniel (Delores) McLoughlin with daughters Tesla and Isabelle and many beloved friends.
A celebration of life will be held in the future down in Florida. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
