Richard C. ‘Dick’ Stumbaugh age 69, of Lima passed away 11:40 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at St. Rita’s. He was born May 11, 1952 in Lima to the late Carl Richard and Lucille (Long) Stumbaugh. He married Evelyn ‘Sue” Maidon Aug. 31, 1985 and she survives in Lima.
Dick was a big Lima Senior supporter working all the games and was also a big Ohio State fan. He was a member of the Lima Moose Lodge 199 and enjoyed watching the Halmark Channel. He was a wheeler dealer and always made a profit. He also enjoyed gambling, playing blackjack was his favorite. He enjoyed his dog Maggie but spending time with the kids and grandkids was the best.
Additional survivors include children: Sandi (Tony) Delph of Lima, Eric (Tonya) Stumbaugh of Van Wert and Mandy Reichelderfer of Lima; 9 grandchildren: Austin, Jake, Katie, Addie, Presley, Rylan, Emmy, Aidyn and Tallyn; siblings: Marilyn May, Janice (Larry) Biglow and Karen (John) Moore all of Lima and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters: Betty Lullen, Sue Ball and Carlene Hollar.
A gathering will be held Sunday, March 27 from 1 to 4 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. A time of sharing will follow at 4, come and share some good memories.
