This is late, but I just discovered this page while on ancestry.com. Dick was my husband’s grandfather. We were happy to be able to introduce him to his great-grandchildren, Pilar and Isaac, when we visited Florida several years ago. We kept in touch via cards and letters both before and after meeting with him. I remember that we went out for lunch to a place where he was well known. He was proud to introduce his grandson, Dan, to the waitress whom he knew well.
