Richard L. Linn

Richard L. Linn, age 68 of New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning. He was born February 3, 1948 in Allen County, Ohio; the son of the late William ‘Jake’ and Lavera Webb Linn.

Mr. Linn was a security guard with the Anna Engine Plant and had worked in construction with L & N Awnings. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving 2 years in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching television, flying model air planes, and working on some small projects. He will be greatly missed by many people and others looked up to him as a second father.

He was a loving father on one daughter – Ginger Linn of New Hampshire, Ohio; a sister – Flo
(Raymond) Edgington of Waynesfield, Ohio; a brother – Paul (Ruth Ann) Linn of Waynesfield, Ohio; 2 half brothers – Mike Carrino of Indian Lake, Ohio; Bill Carrino of California; a half sister – Jackie Carrino of Indian Lake and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a half brother – Randy Carrino, a sister – Georgia ‘Tootie’ McClellan, and his former wife – Brenda L. Linn Hawk.

Funeral services will begin 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Don Smith will officiate. Burial of his cremated remains will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, near New Hampshire, at a later date. Military rites will be observed by the V.F.W. Post 8445 of Wapakoneta.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
