Robert G. Youtsey, Sr. passed away 10:53 a.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Van Wert VanCrest Nursing Home. He was born Feb. 19, 1925 in Van Wert to the late Henry and Velma (Vance) Youtsey.
Robert had been a self-employed blacksmith and a member of the Van Wert VFW having served in the Navy.
Survivors include daughters: Connie (Terry) Huffman of Arlington and Cindy (John) Feathers of Lima, a daughter-in-law Deborah Youtsey of Wapakoneta and a son-in-law Rodney Pulfer of Convoy; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and brothers: Roger (Susie) Youtsey of Ohio City, Myron Youtsey of Bluffton and Larry Youtsey of Dayton.
He was preceded in death by a son R. George Youtsey, daughters Patricia Pulfer, Vikki Barton, Barb Osteen and Alice Louise Buschor, brothers Russ and Ivan Youtsey and sisters: Evelyn McMichael, Dorothy Youtsey, Collen Gray and Betty Allen.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Jonathan Spyker officiating and burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery near Uniopolis.
