Ronald Dean Mulholland age 75, of Lima died 5:34 a.m. Sat. Sept. 14 at Lima Memorial Health Systems. He was born March 8, 1938 in Hardin County to Lyman L. and Sadie E. Fraley Mulholland, who preceded him in death. He married Keely J. Huffman who survives.
Mr. Mulholland retired from Lima Ford Motor Company after 25 years. He had previously worked for Fruehauf of Delphos. He was a member of Lima Eagles 370 and had been a volunteer for the Eastside Community Center. He was an avid sports fan enjoying the Reds, OSU football among others.
Survivors include a son: Todd Mulholland of Van Wert, a daughter Rhonda Mulholland of Lima, a stepson: Daniel (Kim) Higley of Cincinnati, a stepdaughter Amber (Jeremy Niles) Compston of Lima, 3 grandchildren: Mikayla Howe, Marissa Howe and Lenzi Mulholland, 6 step grandchildren: Kaya Gertsen, Kaylee Compston, Regan Higley, Zachary Niles, Abner Higley and Louise Higley, a great great granddaughter: Jordyn Howe, a brother: Lyman (Greta) Mulholland of Spencerville and 3 sisters: Eleanor Klingler of Lima, Judy Miller of Lima and Ginny (Neil) Esmonde of Florida.
Ron was preceded in death by brothers: Eugene, Robert, Russ, Kenny and Dallas Mulholland and sisters: Norma Myers, Ruth Harter and Linda Miller.
The family will receive friends 2- 7 p.m., Tuesday Sept. 16 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home Cridersville.
The funeral service will begin at 7 with Pastor David Howell officiating.
