Ronald E. ‘Ronnie’ Tully, age 65 of Cridersville, died at 3:37 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Lima Memorial Health Systems E.R. He was born October 21, 1950 in Lima, Ohio to the late John Alfred and Lois Lowry Tully. On January 30, 1975 he married Miriam M. Andrews who survives.
Mr. Tully retired from Scott Lad/Roundy’s and was owner/operator of TNT Automotive. He was a graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He will be remembered for his master mechanical abilities and his 1967 Chevy Camero. He was a member of the IHRA, and loved Chevy Cameros and drag racing. He was a great provider, a loving husband who treasured his family, including Fuzzy and Lacey.
Other survivers include 3 sons – Chris Tully of Cridersville; Matt (Christine and her son Christopher Worrell) Tully of Cridersville; Daniel (Aimee) Tully of Waynesfield; a granddaughter – Adrienne Tully; a brother – William ‘Bill’ Tully of Urbana; a sister – Shirley (Gene) Middleton of Cridersville.
He was preceded in death by a brother – James M. Tully who died in 2003 and a sister – Sharon Dailey who died 2014.
Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville; Dr. Daniel Messner will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
