Ronald L. Carter age 71, of Wapakoneta passed away July 6, 2022 at Lima Memorial. He was born Oct. 31, 1951 in Lima to the late William and Mildred (Camper) Carter. He was formerly married to Pamela Carter and had a significant other Patti LeValley of Wapakoneta.
Ron had worked for Ford and was a member of the American Legion in Wapak. He liked to drink beer and watch NASCAR. He also enjoyed fishing and boating.
Additional family members are a daughter: Deana (Mikal Dodds) Dawson of Lakeview, grandson Carter Dawson; siblings and their children, Rick (Robin) Carter of Harrod with Heather Carter and Josh Carter; Mike Carter of Wapak with Kim Carter and Barbara (Dave) Lawrence of Lima with Rhonda Jurosic.
He was preceded in death by a brother Ross (Shelly) Carter with Jesse Carter and Bobbi-June Carter surviving.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

How I became Shitty (shelly) Carter! The very first time I went to meet the in-laws in Ohio Ronnie and pami had just moved in there new home. After several wines I'd excused myself to the potty where you guessed it! Flushed and up it came! Oh no!!! Please go down!!! No plunger!! No toilet paper!! Ran out to Ronnie with a mortified request for help! Stating to Ronnie that I've #2 in there !! Its o.k SHITTY i got it your part of the family now! Will sadly miss you and all the many laughs we've had through out the years.😪❤😪❤😪
