Roosevelt Hall

Roosevelt Hall age 69, of Lima passed away Saturday, July 22 at Lost Creek Care Center.  He was born November 13, 1953 in Merigold, Mississippi to the late Sylvester and Roberta (Benford) Hall.

Roosevelt loved being with his grandkids, playing videos, shooting pool and fishing.  He enjoyed working on cars and was a ‘Jack of all trades’.  He retired from General Dynamics.

Roosevelt had a large family; 7 children:  Debra (Bobby) Dunbar of St. Louis, MO, Linda youngblood, Rose Youngblood both of Lima, Frankie (Michael) Boroff of Waynesfield, Donald Madlock, Roosevelt (Nacosha) Hall, Jr. and James Evans all of Lima; 17 grandchildren:  DeAsia Smith of Springfield, Alaysha Smith, TC Smith, Kameruan Smith, Uche Okoye all of Lima, Juymesha Pernell of Chicago, Mario Melendez of Lima, Ladaisha Holloway of Columbus, Dontrell Youngblood, Davonte Andrews both of Lima, Athena, Michael, Marcellus Boroff all of Waynesfield, Tavina Williams of Lima and Deshion, Donchez and Desaree Madlock all of Milwaukee; 12 great grandchildren and 4 siblings:  Booker T. Hall, Betty (Jessie) Williams and Roy (Gwen) Hall all of Lima and Mary A. (Larry) Roberts of Mound Bayou, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, a great grandchild and 9 siblings:  Sylvester Hall, Jr., James Hall, Lubeartha Hollingsworth, Louise Jackson, Margaret Williams, Johnny Hall, Willie Hall, Earl Hall and Otis Wrght.

A memorial service and time of sharing will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 4^th at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 328 East Fourth Street Lima, Ohio.  A gathering will be held from 11 to 1 prior to the service.
