Royal Glenn Kyler age 84, of Sevierville, TN and formerly of Lima, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018. He was born Nov. 9, 1934 in Sinai, KY to the late Hansel B. and Hazel Fay Robinson Kyler. He married Marie Parrett June 7, 1959 and she survives in Sevierville. Glenn retired from Westinghouse and Sunstrand Corportation after 30 years of service. He had been a minister affiliated with Open Bible Churches where he had been licensed and ordained. He pioneered and pastored Greely Bible Chapel, Lima, Ohio and Open Bible Church, Uniopolis, Ohio for several years. Religious and Biblical studies were his passion and he attended First Baptist Church in Sevierville. He loved the mountains and RV camping. He was an avid Ohio State football and Cincinnati Reds fan.
Additional survivors include son Jeff (Karen) Kyler of Springboro, OH, daughter Sherry M. (Mark) Wells or Lima, OH, 6 grandchildren: Brandi (Trent) Fahncke, Jessica (Jake) Eisenhut, Seth A. Wells, Elizabeth M. Kyler, Amanda F. Wells, Brittany R. Wells and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son Chris Kyler May 20, 1995.
The family will receive friends 11 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will follow at 1 with Chaplain Joe Buck of Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
