I started at Ford in 1974 in keypunch department on the midnight shift. We always went to the cafeteria for our “lunch,” and Ruthie served us, and then sat down and ate with us. She was so friendly and so kind....she made a newly-hired employee like me feel welcome. And she made the best chocolate chip cookies! I will never forget Ruthie and Esther from the cafeteria. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. May God bless her family.....she loved you all so much!
