My deepest condolences Kay, Rick and the rest of the Hefner family. I have many fun memories of Sandi as kid growing up, but what I remember most was her fun loving free spirit! So sorry to hear about her passing...God Bless!

It is with a great deal of sorrow that I learned of Sandi's death. Sandi will always be a large part of my collegiate memories as I roomed with her or near her for several of my years at Ohio State. She was dedicated to her students, kind, generous, creative, and truly one of the happiest people I ever had the pleasure to know. Her light will live on in the people whose lives she touched. My deepest condolences to her family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sandi. Sandi was one of the many kids on Elizabeth Street in Cridersville. My Mom and Dad loved Sandi and entrusted her to babysit me often. Peace to all during this difficult time.

Sandi and I grew up in Cridersville, we were always friends. She was everyone's friend! I moved to Florida in 1972, we kept in touch. The last few years life got in the way and it has been a while since we spoke. She was a wonderful person and a special friend. I remember the last time we spoke, I told her we were more than friends, we were family. It seemed that way with the many kids of Cridersville. Those were special times, growing up in those years and our town. I am thankful Sandi was in my life, she will always be in my memories and my heart. Thank you Sandi, for being a large part of my early life. Rest in Peace

I am so sorry for your loss. Sandy was a very special person. She asked me to her birthday party and made me feel so welcome. I remember being shy when I got there, but that didn’t last long. She will be missed.
