Scott Alan Schimmoeller, age 54 of Lima, passed Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was born July 2, 1967 in Lima, Ohio to the late Christine Eggerman Schimmoeller.
Scott was an over the road truck driver who loved playing the drums. He had a love of animals and started riding horses as a boy in 4-H. That began his love and admiration for horses. At home he had 2 fur babies – his dog Jazzy and his cat Boozy.
He is survived by his siblings – David Schimmoeller of CA; Steve Beemer (LuAnn Moberly-Winnings) of Cairo; Deb (Gary) Copeland, whom shared a very special family bond with; 6 nieces – Amber Roeder, Jessica Roeder, Christine Schimmoeller, Piper Schimmoeller, Lola Schimmoeller, Paige Schimmoeller, 2 nephews – Tyler Beemer and Little Dave; 3 great nieces – Jalyn Roeder, Kayden Roeder, Angel Roeder – deceased; and 4 great nephews who meant the world to Scott – Raylen Roeder, Traven Roeder, Keasten Roeder, and J’Shawn Roeder; and 2 great great nephews – Zy’aire and Jahmiah; and special friends – Rusty Roeder and Don Tenny.
Private family services will be held with Pastor Gary Copeland, Sr. officiating. His final resting place will be with his mother at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
