Sharon S. Ritchie, age 71 of Wapakoneta, passed at 10:08 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Grande Lake Healthcare Center in St. Marys. She was born July 19, 1949 in Logan, West Virginia to the late Donald and Gertrude Conley Cooper. On March 14, 1967 she married Robert G. ‘Bob’ Ritchie who passed October 17, 2017.
Mrs. Ritchie had managed RBC Video and was a homemaker. She was a great woman of faith and had attended the First Assembly of God Church until her health limited her from going. A couple of her great joys were watching classic movies and spending time outside with her flowers. She will be remembered for her love of family, sharing time with them and playing with the grandchildren.
She is survived by 2 daughters – Laura L. Vest of Wapakoneta; Deanna (Sean) Ramirez of North Ridgeville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren – Jason Vest and Jen Weaver; Sara (Joseph) Mitchell; Ashley (Jacob) Jones; Nathanial Vest; Brianna (Lou) Kaloger; and CC Ramirez; and the newest addition to the family, a great granddaughter – Adeline Mitchell; 4 brothers – Jerry (Brenda) Cooper of Columbus; Rex Cooper of Lima; Ronnie (Nancy) Cooper of Botkins; Gary (Rhonda) Cooper of Wapakoneta; 2 sisters – Eleanor Clark of Columbus and Delana Baker of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters- Donna (Frank) Wells of Florida; Terri Williams of Lakeview; 2 brother-in-laws – Sam Clark of Columbus; and John Baker of Wapakoneta.
Family and friends will be received from 3-4:30, Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville for viewing with service starting at 4:30 p.m.
