Shelby J. Tucker age 81, of Lima passed away 2:35 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Lima Memorial. She was born Aug. 21, 1939 in Boomer, West Virginia to the late George W. and Ezelee E. (Kilburn) Sebers. She married Amos Russell Tucker May 24, 1958 and he preceded her in death April 9, 2012.
Shelby was a member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church and had been a clerk at K-Mart.
She leaves behind two sisters Janet Rowe of West Virginia and Linda (Bill) Thompson of Lima. She also leaves behind her two children and their spouses Paul (Lisa) Tucker of Bluffton and Teresa (Chris) Kaufman of Waynesfield, her grandchildren Cody Tucker, Shelby (Kevin) Davenport and Greg (Taler) Iler. Most importantly she leaves behind her greatest treasure in life, her four beautiful great grand babies Valentino, Katherine, Jonathan and Aiden.
She was preceded in death by a brother George Sebers and a sister Shirley Morrison and son-n-law Jim Iler.
The family will receive friends 11 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 29th, 2021 at Lima Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Donnie Smith and Rev. Terry Brock officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lima Missionary Baptist Church.
