Shirlee Ann (Breese) Hover passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Lima Convalescent Home after residing there for almost three years due to declining health.
Shirlee was born on February 27, 1928 in Lima to parents Dick and Lillian (Voelker) Breese who preceded her in death. She was married to Dale S. Hover who passed in 2009. She was a resident of Lima and the Shawnee Township area and spent several decades at Indian Lake before moving back to Lima in 2006.
While her main focus was her husband and daughter, she served as the treasurer and secretary for her husband’s company, Dale S. Hover Excavating, located in Shawnee Township and Indian Lake.
Survivors include daughter Cherie (Milton) Radovic – Brecksville, OH; grandson Adam Breese Radovic – Columbus, OH; and, cousins: Dennis (Ruth Ann) Shaw – Lima, Kay (Glen) LeMar – Lima, Suzanne (Bob) Hardin – Troy, OH, Linda (Lakis) Pape – Bradenton, FL; and, Richard (Judy) Voelker – Wapakoneta, OH.
The family will receive friends 1 – 2:30 p.m., Thursday Oct. 20, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The funeral will follow at 2:30 pm with Rev. Charlotte Hefner officiating and burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
