Sommer D. Villalobos age 42, of Lima passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 3:07 p.m at St. Rita’s Hospital in the presence of friends.
She was born Oct. 22, 1979 in Defiance Ohio. She married Felipe Villalobos, III Sept. 2, 2006, and he survives in Lima.
Sommer was a member of Church on the Rock in Lima where she lead the ASL drama group. She loved doing puppets for Sunday School and seeing the children’s smiles. She had a servant’s heart and loved to feed people! Sommer was known for making the best snickerdoodles and Puppy Chow. She volunteered for Family Promise in Lima and loved being able to help.
In high school she participated in the choir, performing arts and she loved to draw.
Additional survivors include her children: Elijah Kerrigan of Lima, Angel Villalobos of New Haven Indiana, Esperanza ‘Mya’ and Abigail Villalobos both of Lima; Mom, Mellony Pearson of Florida, maternal
grandparents: Jeanene & Dale Corsault of Defiance, Ohio, siblings:
Autumn (Joe) Hoffmeier of Chicago, Kami (Eric) Lenz of Minnesota and Scott (Miranda) Godwin of Virginia, 2 nephews and a niece; Aunt Cindy (Tom Wozniak) Wan of Florida, Uncle Carl Bouldrey of Ohio, Uncle Jason
(Shelly) Corsault of Michigan and many cousins and greats. She will be greatly missed by her church family.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be held 3:30 p.m., Thursday, November 11, at Church of the Rock, 301 West North Street, Lima with Pastor Tom Snyder officiating. Visitation with family will begin at 3 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family and flowers maybe delivered to the church any time after 9 a.m. on Thursday.
