Sylvia Grace Offenbacher age 98, Fort Wayne and formerly of Lima passed away 1:52 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Sylvia Grace Offenbacher age 98, Fort Wayne and formerly of Lima passed away 1:52 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023. She was born March 15, 1925 in Peebles, Ohio to the late Elmer Curtis and Icy Della Hicks. She married William H. Offenbacher November 25, 1948 and he preceded her in death December 22, 1998.
Sylvia was a former partner of Offenbacher Janitorial and Carpet Cleaning and Lima Senior Citizens. She and Bill were founding members of Unity International in Lima.
A son Mike Offenbacher survives in Ft. Wayne; a sister Glayds Curliss of Wilmington along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Larry Neal Offenbacher July 12, 1975; brothers Russell and Donald Wilson and a sister Goldie Jones.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date at Cridersville United Methodist Church.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Rita’s Hospice.
