TaShonda was a graduate of Lima Senior High School with honors and graduated magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was an art teacher at Columbus Urban League and belonged to a dance club. She will be remembered for her caring nature, kind heartedness, being thoughtful, and being a devoted mother, loving her family very much.
Also surviving is her two year old son – Christian Mateo Cabrera-Clark; 4 sisters – Shante Ward, Barbara Ward, Jacqueline Brown, and Nancy Alexander; 3 brothers – Shaqville Brown, Timothy Brown, and Jimmy Chadwick; her best friend – KaMeshia. Recently, and a host of nieces and nephews. Recently, TaShonda was able to meet her biological mother – Sheila Abandy and her biological sister – Kashonda Ross, who also survive..
She was preceded in death by a sister – LaJoyce Hicks and 2 brothers – Roderick Brown and John Brown.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m at the funeral home.
