Ted E. Davis, age 72 of Lima, passed at 12:00 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2022 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1949 in Lima, Ohio to the late William Davis and Anna Belle Beeler Davis Briggs. He married the love of his life, Dee Musser, who survives.
After graduating from Lima Senior High School, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Mr. Davis retired from Dayton Safe Grain as a millwright. His hobbies included quilting, gardening, working on projects in his work shed. He was very proud to have donated over 19 gallons to the American Red Cross. He was a lover of nature and animals, and loved his little buddy, Jingles.
Also surviving is a stepson – Danny Claybaugh of Michigan; 2 brothers – Tom (Angie) Davis of Florida; Tim (Brenda) Davis of Troy; a special niece – Sandra (Ed) Gleason of Virginia; a special nephew – Robert (Tammie) Doyle of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. His brother, Tim Davis will officiate. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, Lima. Military rites will be observed by V.W. F. Post 1275 of Lima and the active U.S. Marine Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
