Thomas Patrick Murphy, age 77 of Lima and formerly of Canton, died at 6:02 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Golden Living Center, Lima. He was born October 15, 1935 in Buffalo, New York.

He played basketball and football at Louisville High School after graduation he served in the
U. S. Army. After returning from the service he was employed at the JA Conley Company and retired to become the owner of Created For You Café in Canton, Ohio.

He is survived by his 3 sons – Michael (Shelly) Murphy and their children – Jay (Kristen), Cole, Cora (Nick) of Scottsdale, Arizona; Mark (Pam) and their children – Kellyn (Troy), Kate (Marcus), Kara and Mark Robert of Uniontown, Ohio; Mitchell (Peg) and their children Justin (Jessica), Rebecca, April, Aliya of Minerva, Ohio; 5 great grandchildren.

No public services are planned. He will be buried in the Ohio National Reserve Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
