Timothy E. Glasco, Sr. age 47 of Lima, passed peacefully at 5:55 p.m., Thursday, January 26, 2017 in St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1969 in Lima, Ohio to Samuel Glasco, deceased and Carol Dray Glasco of Spencerville. He married Bobbi J. Gallant who survives in Lima.
Tim was a Spencerville High School graduate. After graduating high school he joined the Army/Air Force National Guard then joining the U. S. Air Force. He then became a general contractor who enjoyed woodworking, building things, camping, fishing, cooking out, and playing cards. He was described as loyal, protective, intelligent, being honest, patriotic, and having a very loving heart. He was a Dallas Cowboys enthusiast always watching the game on Thanksgiving. He was a fan of John Wayne. He loved his horse ‘Blaze’; his biggest pride and joy was his family, who he loved dearly.
He will be remembered for his kindness; taking so many into his home and treating them as his own family, and never losing his sense of humor during his health struggles.
He is also survived by 2 sons – Timothy E. (Michelle) Glasco, Jr. of Kenton; Andrew L. Glasco of Piqua; 2 daughters – Ashlee N. (Josue) Arias of Zephyrhills, FL; Alannah S. Glasco of Ft. Wayne, IN; 6 grandsons – Hayden, Malius, Timmy, Antony, Nikolas, Kayden; a granddaughter – Layla; a brother – Brian Glasco of CA; 3 sisters – Debra (Eric) Waters of Celina; Dawn Cummans of Spencerville; Kimberly Stechschulte of Spencerville; brother and sister-in-laws – Dick (Barb) Gallant of Charleviox, MI; Jan (Len) Wilson of Lima; Randy (Vickie Farmer of Kenton) Gallant, dec. Judy (John) Klinger of Lima; Joyce (John) Fickel of Lima; Jill (Tom) Drake of Tucson, AZ and Rex (Cheryl) Gallant of Forrest, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a plethora of ‘adopted’ children.
Funeral services will begin 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Brother-in-law John Klinger will officiate. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Independence Mobility Fund for Specialized Veteran’s Trackchair.
