Timothy L. Williams, age 71 of Lima, left this world peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, at 2:37 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022. He was born April 16, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Luther Williams, who preceded him in passing and Isabel Sterrett Williams, who survives in Cridersville. On August 8, 1992 he was united in marriage to Sherrill A. Satterfield, who survives in Lima.

Tim had previously worked at Ford Motor Company and had retired from Satellite Connections. He graduated in 1969 from Waynesfield Goshen High School and joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended Rousculp Church of Christ, was an amateur magician loving to preform tricks for children and playing the guitar. He treasured time spent out in nature and all animals, feeding, and watching the squirrels, and playing with his four-legged buddy, Jesse James, Jr. He will be remembered for his love of life and ability to make others feel comfortable, never meeting a stranger, and the ability to talk with anyone. One on Tim’s favorite quotes was “I might need that someday.”

Other survivors include a son – Jeremy Williams of Lima; a step-son – Jared (Dawn) Roether of Ottawa; 11 grandchildren – Andrew, Ashley, Shane, Sebastian, Devin, Brayden, Xian, Moira, Haley, Kaiden, and Liyla; a brother – Terry (Robin) Williams of Dayton; 2 sisters – Patty (Merlin) Hinkle of Cridersville; Kay (Tom) Born of Galena; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in passing by a son – Shane Williams, who passed 1992 and a step daughter – Nichole Roether who passed 2013.

Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Kenny Rader will officiate. Military rites will be observed.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Rousculp Church of Christ or Deb’s Dogs.

The family would like to make a special acknowledgement to Dr. Jason Stienecker, his assistant – Kristin Hoehn and Lima Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care and support during this difficult time.

Tim was a GREAT friend, he was an inspiration that exemplified true Christianity; he was a GREAT conversationalist; he was someone interested in people, interested in who people are and he always met people where they stood. Tim was also ALWAYS groomed to perfection! Those traits are VERY rare - especially today. However, Tim was all of those wonderful things! He will be missed.
