Timothy Robert Sellers age 75, of Lima passed away peacefully in his sleep Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022 at his residence with his family. at 9:03 a.m. Timothy was born May 31, 1947 in Lima, Ohio son of the late Norman Robert and Winifred A. (Logue) Sellers. On December 18, 1971 he married Mary Eileen (Casey) Sellers in Harrod, Ohio, she survives in Lima.
Tim graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1965 and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. Tim worked at Clark Equipment and retired from BP Chemical in Lima, Ohio. He enjoyed his grandchildren, golfing, fishing and hiking in the mountains of Tennessee, North and South Carolina and Georgia and visiting national parks out west. Tim lived in Sun City, AZ for four years and was able to visit most national parks out west. Moved back to Ohio because of his Alzheimer’s disease. He was a former member of Rousculp Church of Christ where he served as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and elder.
Tim is survived by his wife Mary Eileen Sellers of 50 years, son Shawn Patrick (Dawn) Sellers of Lima, and daughters Brenda Lee Sellers of Lima and Jody Marie (Dan) Good of Michigan; grandchildren: Logan Thomas Sellers, Alexander Timothy Sellers and Shayla Josephine Marie Sellers; a great grandson Owen Timothy Sellers; brother Andrew P. Sellers of Hyde Park, UT and a sister-in-law Kay Sellers of Lima.
He was preceded in death by a sister Kimberly Joan Sellers and brother Homer Eugene Sellers.

The family would like to thank Putnam County Hospice, Otterbein Rehab Care Center and Mercy Health and Home Care and their therapist, they provided excellent care for Tim. Memorial contributions may be given to the Northwest Ohio Chapter Alzheimer’s Association of Marimor School and Industries.
