Todd Hines

Todd Hines, age 57 of Wapakoneta, passed at 1:55 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Lima Memorial Hospital’s emergency room.  He was born October 11, 1965 in Lima, Ohio to Roger F. and Gloria K. Burden Hines. His mother preceded him in passing and his father survives in Buckland. On August 31, 1985 he married Gina Nance, who survives in Wapakoneta.

Todd was a construction manager with Peterson Construction Company. He enjoyed carpentry, building things, and watching go cart and sprint car races. His greatest joy was his family and having cookouts with them. Todd will be remembered for being a family man and putting his family first.

Also surviving are 2 sons – Corey Todd Hines of Wapakoneta; Alex Eugene Hines of Wapakoneta; a grandson – Kaylum James Douglas Hines; 2 brothers – Brian (Karen) Meyer of Buckland; Ryan Hines of Buckland; 5 sisters – Brenda (Del) Galentine of Wapakoneta; Fran (Tom) Stieneke of Freyburg; Robin (Wayne) Lutz of Uniopolis, Joannie (Rick) Lynn and Barb Fisher; a sister in law – Terri (Joe) Wenning of Ottawa; his father and mother-in-law – Clifford and Judy Nance of Wapakoneta; a brother-in-law – Tim (Tracy) Nance of SC and a sister-in-law – Susan (Brian) Blatz of Wapakoneta.

He was preceded in passing by an infant daughter – Lyndsey Hines; a brother – Kevin Meyer; a sister – Julie Hines; his paternal grandparents – Carl & Lillian Hines and maternal grandparents – Jim and Irene Burden.

A memorial service will begin 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 4, 2023 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
