Toyetta Sue Hixenbaugh, age 62, of Lima died 8:50 p.m., Monday, March 1, 2010 in her home.
She was born September 3, 1947 in Lima to Ira C. and Marjorie J. Shappell Place. Her father is deceased. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta. On December 28, 1968 she married Jay Eugene Hixenbaugh who died May 20, 2005.
Mrs. Hixenbaugh was a homemaker. She had been a shipping and receiving clerk for Clyde Evans Market in Wapakoneta and had been an administrative assistant at Lima Correctional Institute. She was a member of Cridersville Church of the Nazarene, graduated from Buckland High School in 1965, attended Wright State University, Lake Campus and had been a Sunday School teacher.
Additional survivors include 1 son, John E. (Jennifer) Hixenbaugh of Lima, 3 daughters, Judy (Andy) Enneking of Miamisburg, Ohio; Jaymee (Mark) Donovan of Botkins, Ohio and Jennifer (Alan) Saintignon of New Bremen, Ohio; 9 grandchildren, Leslie, Jacob and Joshua Hixenbaugh, Alex and Katie Enneking, Garrett and Cole Donovan and Luke and Seth Saintignon, 1 brother, Tim (Kathy) Place of Wapakoneta, 1 sister, Linda (Marvin) Topp of New Bremen and a sister-in-law, Penny Heil of Buckland.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Bill Heil.
Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 5, 2010 in Bayilff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Jonathon Spyker will officiate. Burial will follow in Buckland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cridesville Church of the Nazarene or to the Equestrian Therapy Program.
