William Charles Hesser, age 75 of Harrod, passed at 6:35 a.m., Monday, November 28, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health Care. He was born June 21, 1947, in Lima, Ohio to the late Berlin and Ruth Calvert Hesser. In October 1969 he married Marilyn L. Miller, who survives.

Mr. Hesser retired after 40 years from Rudolph Foods and was a member of Lima Seventh Day Adventist. He was a coin collector, enjoyed working with wood, playing horseshoes, and ‘nuts’ about working with Christmas lights.

Also surviving is a son – Ricky A. (Melisa) Hesser of Cridersville; a daughter – Ruth Ann Hesser of Lima; 5 grandchildren – Marie (Eric); Megan (Matt); Caytlin (Logan); Levi (Shay); Andrew; 10 great grandchildren – Madison; Laci; Wyatt; Charlie; Maverick; Stryker; Ryken; Gatlin; Ranyer; and Laelynn.

He was preceded in death by a great grandson – O’Rielly.

Funeral services will begin 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2022 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Seventh Day Adventist Church.
