Wilma Gratz Sharpe 99 passed away peacefully in Lima on Monday, August 27 at her home. She was born March 16 1913 in Elyria, Ohio to Florence and Clem Gratz. Wilma Gratz Sharpe 99 passed away peacefully in Lima on Monday, August 27 at her home.
She was born March 16 1913 in Elyria, Ohio to Florence and Clem Gratz. She was married for 64 years to Edwin Milo Sharpe, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Sharpe is survived by six of her eight children. Catherine Ayala with whom she lived, Sybil Makruski of Naples, Florida, Sandy Miller, Deane Sharpe and David Holstead, Belinda John all of Lima and Theodore Sharpe of Bakersfield, California. She also leaves 21 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and 60 great great grandchildren.
Two children, Mary Neal and Berton Sharpe preceded her in death.
Wilma and Edwin had an antique shop in Lima in the 60’s.
A celebration of her life will be held.
